Speech Buddy Videos
After watching the Speech Buddy Videos I found helpful information to use in the preparation process for my speeches in this course. What I found helpful was the tip to go to the library because you can find numerous types of sources that will benefit for your speech. Also the people who work at the library are there to help if you have difficulties finding something. The library provides different types of sources such as magazines, books, encyclopedias, newspapers, interviews, and much more. People should take advantage of these resources because it will strongly support their speech and give them confidence because they know so much about their topic. This semester I have been going to the library a lot lately because of the work load from school and found it very helpful when looking for information or just doing homework!

Hello Kai! Like you I found the tip of going to the library very helpful and beneficial for research. The library does provide a lot of information which can be very useful for a project, paper, or even a speech. The library is also great for group projects or study halls with friends because there are numerous group rooms in the library. Throughout my years in school my teachers have always encouraged us to go the library and do our research. I remember taking field trips to local and more profound libraries especially to encourage us to start our research for school papers. Like you I believe, going to the library is a great place to go for finding information or just doing homework. I have gone there several times, especially when I found it difficult, if not impossible to study in my dorm. I especially found the library useful when I just wanted to be alone when I studied or tried to get a paper done.
ReplyDeleteHello Kai! I am glad you mentioned the vast amount of resources available to students. The King Library is a great place to start. What sources, other than internet are you going to be using for the first speech in this class? You are required to use a variety of sources. :)
